The Frail Elderly (FE) waiver provides Kansas seniors an alternative to nursing home care. Services include personal care, household tasks, and health services. The program promotes independence within the community and helps to offer residency in the most integrated environment.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the FE waiver, an individual must meet the following criteria:
- Must be 65 years old;
- Meet the Medicaid nursing facility threshold score;
- Be financially eligible for Medicaid.
Enrollment
To apply for the FE Waiver, contact your local Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) by calling 855-200-2372. The ADRC will conduct a FE functional eligibility assessment to determine functional eligibility for the FE waiver.
