Home MenuCommunity Mental Health Center Contract Outcomes
By contract, Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) in Kansas are required to report data on three outcome measures each quarter. These outcomes will specifically monitor the uninsured/underinsured target population each CMHC serves. These outcome measures are:
Employment:
The percentage of consumers with an SPMI who improve their vocational status within the reporting period. The CMHC will be assigned a score based on the vocational status of each individual with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) receiving a CSS service within the last 90 days who can be considered for the workforce.
Screening-Adults:
Percent of screening determinations by the same responsible CMHC resulting in readmissions of adults, age 18 and over, to any State Mental Health Hospital (SMHH) or private psychiatric hospital, occurring within 30 days of previous discharge.
Screening-Children and Adolescents:
Percent of screening determinations by the same responsible CMHC resulting in readmissions of youth, age 17 and under, to any inpatient hospital for children and adolescents, private psychiatric hospital, or psychiatric residential treatment facility, within 30 and 90 days of previous discharge.
The Automated Information Management System (AIMS) generates the data for these outcome measures. Information on AIMS and its use can be found in the AIMS Manual.
