National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is now: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. While some areas may be currently able to connect to the Lifeline by dialing 988, this dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022.

If you feel you are in a crisis, whether or not you are thinking about suicide, please call the Lifeline. People have called for help with substance abuse, economic worries, relationship and family problems, sexual orientation, illness, getting over abuse, depression, mental and physical illness, and even loneliness.

The ADRC empowers older adults and persons with disabilities to make informed choices about their services and supports. It streamlines access to those services and ensures individual needs are met. The ADRC can refer individuals to an array of in-home, community-based, and institutional services and provide decision-making support.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA’s) National Helpline, also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service, is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders.
