The Grant Year 2024 Counselor Training schedule is now available. The training season for Grant Year 2024 will include Update training for counselors certified before April 1, 2024, and two days of Initial training for new applicants since April 1, 2024, and those wishing to re-certify if they missed re-certification before April 1, 2023.
SHICK will conduct Initial and Update training from June - September 2024 and January through March 2025. Videoconference training and in-person training will be scheduled. The schedule is posted below. More trainings, including the videoconference trainings, will be posted when available.
Applicants wishing to attend Initial Counselor training should review the instructions on the SHICK Initial Training Courses page before registering for Initial Training. Attendees will need access to a computer/tablet for this training.
Please contact us at the KDADS Medicare inbox, KDADS_Medicare@ks.gov, with questions or requests for training.
