Strategic Prevention Framework Partnership for Success II Initiative

Kansas SPF-PFS Initiative is a federal grant awarded to Kansas by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) which is a part of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The primary goal of the grant is to prevent underage drinking as well as binge drinking in targeted communities across that state that demonstrate high need.

Community Coalitions who currently receive funding to implement evidence-based prevention strategies as part of this initiative include: 

  • Safe Streets Coalition;
  • Sumner County Community Drug Action Team;
  • Manhattan Area Risk Prevention Coalition;
  • Draw the Line Doniphan;
  • The Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe; and
  • Leavenworth Prevention Coalition.
