HCBS Adverse Incident Reporting (AIR)

This AIR system is designed for KDADS service providers and contractors to report all adverse incidents and serious occurrences involving individuals receiving services from the following KDADS programs: Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers, Money Follows the Person (MFP), Behavioral Health, Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC), Senior Care Act and Older Americans Act. To learn more about AIR and how to make a report to KDADS, please watch the training video.

Self-Directed Services

Based on the belief that the person with the disability should be empowered to make decisions about the services they receive and the individuals who provide them, including having choice and control over the type of support services they receive and the who, what, when and where of service delivery. To locate an active Financial Management Service Provider in your area, view FMS Providers.

Please visit the Department of Labor information page to see how the Department of Labor Final Rule may impact your personal care services.
