KDADS Announces Leigh Keck to Join Agency as Director of Government Affairs

TOPEKA — Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) Secretary Laura Howard announced today that Leigh Keck will join the agency Monday, August 30, 2021. She will fill the Director of Government Affairs position left vacant in May this year after the retirement of Connie Hubbell.  

Keck joins KDADS from Capitol Strategies, LLC, where for nearly 11 years she has served as a lobbyist focused on appropriations, healthcare and education issues. Prior to her work as a lobbyist, she served as a Committee Monitor for Hein Law Firm in the 2009 and 2010 legislative sessions. While studying Political Science at the University of Kansas, Keck interned for Representative Lana Gordon in 2008.
